What is the Hearing Dogs Weekly Lottery?

It is a weekly lottery where you will have the chance to win some fantastic prizes as well as helping deaf people to leave loneliness behind and reconnect with family, with friends, with their communities….with life.

How much do entries cost?

Each entry costs £1 per entry per draw and you can play as many times as you like. You can enter online, by calling our Weekly Lottery Helpline on 01628 200 342 (Lines open Monday-Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm) or emailing lottery@hearingdogs.org.uk.

What prizes could I win?

If you match 6 numbers in the right order, you will win £10,000, If you match 5 numbers in the right order, you will win £1,000. If you match 4 numbers in the right order, you will win £25 and if you match 3 numbers in the right order, you will win £5.

How can I enter online?

Signing up online couldn’t be easier. Just follow these three easy steps.

1. Go to lottery.hearingdogs.org.uk
2. Enter your details and choose how you’d like us to communicate with you
3. Enter your Direct Debit details

We will send you a confirmation email straight away and your numbers will be sent to you in the post within 21 days along with your lottery number(s), payment details and the draw start date.

I don’t want to enter online, is there another way I can play?

That’s fine, we know that not everyone wants to sign up online. You can also sign up by calling our Lottery Helpline on 01628 200 342 (Lines open Monday-Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm).

Can I play without signing up to Direct Debit payments?

Yes, for annual payments, you can play by cheque or debit/credit card. Please contact our Lottery Helpline for more details or to enter over the phone.

How do I add more lines to my lottery subscription?

If you want more chances to win, call our Lottery Helpline on 01628 200 342 or email lottery@hearingdogs.org.uk with your current Lottery subscription details.

Can I choose my own numbers?

Unfortunately not. Every Friday, the draw is conducted by a random generator which will select a six-digit number (the Winning Number). From this number, if you have matched 3, 4, 5 or 6 of the numbers, you are a winner.

When are the draws held?

The draws are held every week on a Friday, except when a Friday falls on a bank holiday in England, in which case the draw will be held on the next working day.

How do I know if I have won?

All winners will be notified by post so there is no need to claim your prize. If you paid by Direct Debit, prizes will be paid directly into your bank account, otherwise a cheque will be issued within 21 days of the winning date. A list of the winners will be published each week on our website.

I have won but I haven’t heard from you?

If you haven’t heard from us within 21 days of the draw, please call our Lottery Helpline on 01628 200 342 (Lines open Monday-Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm).

What happens once I have entered?

If you signed up online, you’ll receive a welcome email straight away followed by a confirmation letter which can take up to 21 days. This will include your lottery number(s), first draw date and payment schedule. Please keep this letter in a safe place, it will also include a personalised card for you to keep in your wallet.

If you didn’t sign up online – through returning a form from a mailing or talking to one of our fundraisers – this process might take a few days longer because it will depend on the date of receipt of your completed details.

I haven’t received my welcome letter or email, what should I do?

If you haven’t received your welcome letter within 21 days of signing up, please contact the Lottery Helpline on 01628 200 342 (Lines open Monday-Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm). We’ll be happy to sort it out.

What are the entry requirements for the Lottery?

You must be 18 years old or over and live in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland to enter the Weekly Lottery or to claim a prize.

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People is licensed with the Gambling Commission under the Gambling Act 2005, licence number 4985. Please gamble responsibly.
